Facilities Management Employee Council
The mission of the Facilities Management Employee Council is to foster communication among Facilities Management employees and provide a forum for workplace-related concerns with the intent of improving the working conditions of UVA Facilities Management. We support and uphold the Facilities Management values of respect, integrity, stewardship and collaboration in the workplace.
Function and responsibility of the Employee Council
- The Council represents all Facilities Management employees.
- The Council is a liaison between employees and FM leadership.
- The Council is a communication network among and between all FM departments.
- The Council strives to address matters of concern, acting as a forum for discussing employee ideas with the intent of improving the working conditions of Facilities Management.
- The Council actively supports and promotes a fair and inclusive work environment.
