Best Wishes to FM Retirees

Noted with regret

Dickie Williams, plumber supervisor for Health System Physical Plant Zone 1 South, died Dec. 6, 2024. Williams – who worked at UVA for 16 years – was known for his hard work and dedication to the mission of patient care at UVA. “I personally stood shoulder to shoulder with him when the water was literally rising on us and I counted on his skill and willingness to do whatever was necessary more times than I can recall,” Director of HSPP Derek Wilson wrote in an email to staff.
