New uniform ordering process

Requests for FM uniform items are now online
Facilities Management's uniform ordering process is changing.
The paper-based ordering process is going away and is now online through the University's electronic shopping portal, UVA Marketplace, which is accessed through Workday.
Employees are now able to view current FM-approved uniform apparel items in UVA Marketplace by viewing uniform vendor Haberdasher's punchout catalog. Requests for uniform items will be entered in Marketplace and route via each shop's existing Workday Requisitioner for review and completion. During the transition, paper order forms will continue to be accepted until further notice.
The FM Logistics team will continue to offer support for those who need to try-on clothes, guidance with placing orders online and issue stock items (t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets and hats). In-person support hours will continue to be Mondays from 1-3 p.m. at HSPP and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-3 p.m. at the Logistics Warehouse.
The FM Logistics team will be hosting the following info sessions:
- Tuesday, Oct. 31, 9:30 a.m., Skipwith Hall, upper-level large conference room
- Wednesday, Nov. 1, 11 a.m., HSPP West Complex 'O' level conference room (across from the Customer Support Center)
- Wednesday, Nov. 8, 11 a.m., Leake Building, upper-level conference room
- Wednesday, Nov. 15, 11 a.m., Skipwith Hall, upper-level large conference room
Session topics will include how orders will be initiated/processed/delivered, funding review (apparel orders are charged to Overhead), tracking employee issued items (the name of the employee receiving the apparel item must be entered in the memo fields of each PO).
