Compliments from Customers
Michael Light and team: I wanted to be sure to recognize Facilities Management, specifically Mike Light, for responding to 6 East in less than 2 minutes when an electricity outage was reported in multiple patient rooms, at the nurses station and the dayroom. His quick response was much appreciated! —Rebekah Melan, 6 East Nurse Manager

The Freezer Challenge is hosted yearly by My Green Lab and the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories (I2SL) to promote energy efficiency in cold storage management, which can generate significant energy and cost savings while also supporting efficient research practices. This year, 25 laboratories at UVA participated in the challenge.
