Vaccine appointment assistance

Facilities Management is hosting walk-in hours for employees needing assistance with COVID-19 appointment scheduling

All UVA employees — including all Facilities Management staff — are now eligible to schedule a vaccine appointment with UVA Health. Employees will receive an email with a button to click to schedule their vaccination appointment (this email may come via UVA Health MyChart).

For Facilities Management employees who need assistance with scheduling their appointment due to technology challenges or language barriers, Occupational Programs is offering walk-in hours during March and April. No sign-up is required to attend, and each event will feature four physically-distanced computer stations set up for employees to access the vaccine appointment site.

FM DEI Specialist Emily Douglas will be present to answer any questions, assist with tech issues and offer translation services. The registration form requires information about existing medical conditions, allergy information and knowledge of your workplace environment. Any private information submitted via the registration form will remain protected. If all computer stations are occupied, please remain outside of the room at a six-foot distance from others until a station becomes available. All participants are required to wear a mask. Computer cleaning wipes and surface wipes will be available for each participant to sanitize the area when they have finished registration.

The following times are for assistance to schedule an appointment online with UVA Health. The vaccine is not administered at these registration sites.

  • March 24, 7:30-9:30 a.m.
  • March 26, 2-4 p.m.
  • April 7, 7:30-9:30 a.m.
  • April 9, 2-4 p.m.
  • April 23, 2-4 p.m.

HSPP West Complex, conference room G032:

  • March 31, 7-10 a.m.
  • April 2, 2-4 p.m.
  • April 14, 7:30-9:30 a.m.

Wilsdorf Hall, room 200:

  • April 1, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
  • April 8, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
  • April 15, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
  • April 29, 9:30-11:30 a.m.

Newcomb Hall, room 389:

  • March 30, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
  • April 6, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
  • April 13, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
  • April 27, 9:30-11:30 a.m.

In addition, any time taken for registration can be entered into AiM as "admin time." Please ask your supervisor if you have any questions.
