He has been simply amazing during our isolation and quarantine work. We honestly could not do it without him — not just the work his team does (which is often herculean and in real time) but also his positivity and humor. From late night calls and texts to figuring out creative solutions to solve problems we never thought we’d be facing (like converting dorms to isolation space!), he is a true leader and dedicated colleague. Noted with Regret
- Forrest Wood, a retiree of Facilities Management, died Jan. 24. Forrest, who was a graduate of the UVA Apprenticeship Program, worked as an electrician with North Grounds Zone Maintenance for 32 years, retiring in September 2004.
