Our mission
Design Services supports the mission of Facilities Management and the University by providing in-house architectural and engineering design solutions and construction administration services for all types of renovations. Our team collaborates within a studio setting in the Leake Building. We support our University partners by drawing on our creativity, technical expertise, and institutional knowledge to provide high quality, code compliant designs, construction documents and other related services
Our history
Design Services was created in the mid 1980s to address a growing need for professional design services for a growing number of small projects during an intense expansion of University facilities. At that time it was known as the Design Group, and over the past few decades we have grown to include a variety of services. Currently, Design Services is comprised of over a dozen team members with various expertise that can respond to a wide range of efforts.
