Community involvement

In addition to professional roles at UVA, many Facilities Management employees are committed to helping those around them by volunteering in the community. Facilities Management employees actively contribute to the community in many ways, including supporting the following:

• Blood donation drives throughout the year
• Building Goodness Foundation's Building Goodness in April event
• United Way Laurence E. Richardson Day of Caring at Camp Holiday Trails
• Donation drives for winter clothing, food banks, school supplies, disaster relief, the Toy Lift and the Ronald McDonald House
