To meet the demand for operating rooms at the UVa Outpatient Surgery Center (OPSC) and allow capacity to grow in advance of the Battle Building Outpatient ORs, two modular operating rooms were added to the OPSC.

The Project included the area where the modular ORs will be located, utility interconnections, emergency power, medical gas storage, a link from the ORs to the OPSC (including support spaces), a new entry canopy, and a screening wall surrounding the modules.

The project was completed in August 2012.
